On June 27, 2011, the Supreme Court of the United States decided two personal jurisdiction cases: J. McIntyre Machinery, Ltd. v. Nicastro, stream of commerce-specific jurisdiction, and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations, S.A. v. Brown, general jurisdiction. These are the Court’s first decisions in either area in over twenty years.
